Congregation Beth Israel is in the heart of the Northern Berkshires. The synagogue is located at 53 Lois Street in North Adams.  Lois Street is a small residential road on the south side of Route 2 (State Rd.), half a mile east of the Williamstown line.  It is two-tenths of a mile west of the traffic light at Stop and Shop.  The synagogue is a round building.
